Limited-edition gold and green model from the CITIZEN Series 8 collection of modern and sporty mechanical watches
CITIZEN will be launching a limited-edition version of the 870 Mechanical watch from its Series 8 of modern and sporty mechanical watches. The watch is both practical and functional, featuring CITIZEN’s Caliber 0950 movement (Cal. 0950) that provides enhanced magnetic resistance.
This latest limited-edition model has a striking two-piece bezel that accents the solid, sturdy look of the case. The hands and indexes create a dial that is both simple and eye-catching. The fashionable green color of the dial and strap contrasts with the understated warm gold and grey colors of the case, creating a fresh, new look. Watch functions have a strong emphasis on practicality, utilizing the Cal. 0950 mechanical movement newly developed in 2021. The movement features enhanced magnetic resistance, essential for our modern digital society, providing protection against magnetic fields generated by smartphones, tablets, and other devices that can affect the accuracy of the watch. The movement is just 4.1 mm thick, resulting in a thinner case and an extremely comfortable fit.
With their modern, dynamic styling, Series 8 watches suit any scene, from business occasions to casual days off. The brand’s mechanical watches provide a range of practical features, including magnetic resistance to protect them against magnetic fields in everyday life, and a supremely comfortable fit.
The eye-catching case features a combination of warm gold and grey colors on the two-piece bezel, while the matte hairline and mirror finishes provide a subtle contrast. The simple indexes and hands complement the fashionable green color of the dial and the calf leather strap, and the white stitching on the band gives the watch a sporty look.
The thin mechanical movement with enhanced magnetic resistance ensures that the watch, with its solid and sturdy look, fits comfortably.
*Accuracy measured in a stationary position. Due to the characteristics of mechanical watches, daily accuracy may be outside stated figures due to variations in conditions of use (including length of time worn, the position of the watch, wrist movement, and the winding of the spring.
